Avoid Phishing — Don't Click the Link!

If you're ever asked to click on a link in an email to provide security information, don't do it. The request is actually a "phishing scam" to obtain your secure information. Lenders, brokerages, banks, or other reputable business entities will not ask for confidential information via e-mail as it is not secure. If you have a question, call the business entity and ask, they can confirm appropriate information requests.
